Antes de nada

Qué necesitas

• Tu propia cuenta en la aplicación, con al menos un dispositivo tuyo, y las guías de uso general y avanzada leídas.
• Verás que la opción de menú Cuenta pasa a identificarte como Cuenta profesional.
• Los grupos de modos que tengas asignados son los que podrás instalar en los dispositivos de otros usuarios, previa autorización.

Un mismo dispositivo puede ser gestionado por varios profesionales a la vez. Lo habitual es que cada uno trabaje con grupos distintos, pero si no es así, debéis poneros de acuerdo.

Hacerse cargo

Aceptar el dispositivo de otra persona

1. El propietario entra en Permitir gestión desde su dispositivo y genera una clave con el botón Generar clave de gestión.
2. Te la comunica. Son 6 dígitos y caduca a las 48 horas.

3. Tú entras en Cuenta → Introducir clave de gestión, la escribes y listo. Te aparecerá en Dispositivos, bajo Dispositivos de otros usuarios.

Si la clave no entra, ponte en contacto con el propietario del dispositivo. Lo probable: que hayan pasado 48 horas, que ya se haya usado, que ese aparato ya lo gestiones, o que la suscripción de ese aparato esté vencida. Pídele que genere otra clave.

Tu lista de dispositivos

En Dispositivos, los tuyos salen arriba y los que gestionas debajo, bajo el encabezado Dispositivos de otros usuarios, identificados por el correo del propietario.

Al pulsar uno ajeno entras directamente en la gestión de sus modos. De un aparato que no es tuyo no hay pantalla de control.

Los límites

Qué ves y qué no ves

Lo que nunca podrás hacer es iniciar o parar un ciclo de programación. Tú decides lo que está disponible; el propietario decide siempre el uso que quiere hacer con ello.

Operación

Instalar y quitar modos

• Entras en la opción de menú Gestionar dispositivo y verás un resumen de lo instalado de tus grupos asignados.
• Eliges un grupo y marcas o desmarcas en su catálogo. Pulsa Actualizar y vuelves al resumen, que ya refleja el cambio.
• El icono i de una fila despliega información de ese modo, si la tiene.

Si quitas el modo que el aparato estaba usando en un ciclo de programación en curso, el ciclo se interrumpe y la pantalla te lo dice al guardar.

Los cambios que hagas se le anuncian al propietario la próxima vez que abra la aplicación.

Explorar tu catálogo

En Cuenta, cada uno de tus grupos se puede abrir: dentro tienes todos sus modos, con su nota informativa si la llevan.

Esto es tu catálogo de grupos asignados a tu cuenta, no el aparato de nadie: se mira sin tocar nada.

Casos que desconciertan

Cuando no puedes editar

Aún no tienes grupos asignados. Podrás aceptar la gestión del dispositivo con normalidad, pero al abrirlo verás el mensaje «No tienes grupos de modos gestionables asignados». No es una avería: solicita los grupos que necesites al administrador y la pantalla se activa sola.

Al terminar

Dejar un dispositivo

En la pantalla de Gestionar dispositivo, el botón rojo Liberar gestión de dispositivo corta la relación. Los modos que instalaste se quedan en el dispositivo: su propietario sigue disponiendo de ellos.

Por su lado, el propietario puede retirarte el permiso de gestión en cualquier momento, y no hace falta que ninguno de los dos avise al otro.

What you need

• Your own account in the app, with at least one device of your own, and the general and advanced user guides read.
• You will see that the Account menu option now identifies you as a Professional account.
• The mode groups you have been assigned are the ones you will be able to install on other users' devices, with their prior authorisation.

One device can be managed by several professionals at once. Each of you would normally work with different groups, but if that is not the case, you need to agree between yourselves.

Accepting someone else's device

1. The owner opens Grant management on their device and generates a key with the Generate management key button.
2. They pass it on to you. It is 6 digits and expires after 48 hours.

3. You open Account → Enter management key, type it in, and that is it. It will appear in Devices, under Other users' devices.

If the key does not go through, get in touch with the device owner. The likely reasons: 48 hours have passed, it has already been used, you already manage that device, or that device's subscription has run out. Ask them to generate another key.

Your device list

In Devices, yours come first and the ones you manage below, under the Other users' devices heading, identified by the owner's email.

Tapping someone else's takes you straight into managing its modes. A device that is not yours has no control screen.

The limits

What you see and what you do not

What you can never do is start or stop a programming cycle. You decide what is available; the owner always decides what to do with it.

Working

Installing and removing modes

• You go in through the Manage device menu option, where you get a summary of what is installed from your assigned groups.
• You pick a group and tick or untick in its catalogue. Press Update and you return to the summary, which already shows the change.
• The i icon on a row opens the information for that mode, where there is any.

If you remove the mode the device was using in a programming cycle under way, the cycle is interrupted and the screen tells you so when you save.

Whatever you change is announced to the owner the next time they open the app.

Before installing

Exploring your catalogue

In Account, each of your groups can be opened: inside you get all its modes, with their information note where they have one.

This is your catalogue of groups assigned to your account, not anyone's device: you look without touching anything.

Cases that puzzle

When you cannot edit

You have no groups assigned yet. You can accept management of the device as normal, but on opening it you will see the message «You have no manageable mode groups assigned». It is not a fault: ask the administrator for the groups you need and the screen comes to life on its own.

When you are done

Leaving a device

On the Manage device screen, the red Release device management button ends the relationship. The modes you installed stay on the device: its owner still has them available.

For their part, the owner can withdraw your management permission at any time, and neither of you needs to tell the other.
